Novi Public Library is partnered with Michigan Small Business Technology Development Center as a Business Resource Center. A Business Resource Center is a place where people can go to get free information about how to start and/or grow their business. We provide a place to meet, computers & printers, business books (reference and circulating non-fiction) and access to business databases. We also host business classes and provide information about the various state and federal programs that offer assistance to business owners.

Three Keys to Developing and Evaluating Your Business Idea

Are you thinking of starting a new business? Learn how to assess the feasibility of your idea by evaluating the market and sales potential of your product or service. Options for funding your new business will also be addressed. This class will be taught by a representative from the Michigan Small Business Development Center (MI-SBDC) at Eastern Michigan University, and the Business Librarian will demonstrate how you can use library resources to put the three keys into practice.
