Kiddie Crafts

Use your imagination and creativity to make a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Toddlers and preschoolers will have the opportunity to create a work of art using their imaginations and the supplies that we will provide. Each child must be accompanied by an adult helper, and we may get messy so please dress accordingly.

Dog Days at the Library

Read to a dog! Children are encouraged to practice their reading skills with a very patient listener: a therapy dog. For readers in grades K-6. **Registration is required. Please call the Library to schedule a 15 minute appointment between 6:30pm and 8pm**

MSU Tollgate Farm Children’s Garden Story Hour

Mondays, 9:30-10:30am

Preschoolers ages 2-5 will enjoy a story time and participate in engaging activities; such as process-based art, moving to music, or a game. The time-honored Novi Library tradition Design-A-Plate Day is now being held in the summer. Design a keepsake plate that makes a perfect present for loved ones or a way to capture your children’s artistic talent at every age. Special paper and markers will be provided. The cost is $8 per plate which is payable by cash or check. Plates will be available for pick-up in late September.

Novi Police Department K-9 Program

Early Literacy Fair

Learn about fun and creative ways to practice early literacy skills that you can easily replicate at home. Stations will address skills such as fine motor skill development, letter recognition, sight word practice, and more! Bring your pre-reader to try out some activities!
