The Building Authority was a Commission that oversaw the issuance of financing bonds for special projects within the City of Novi.  The new Library was one of those projects.

The Building Authority was comprised of:

• Steve Rumple, Comm. Development Director
• Clay Pearson, City Manager
• Kathy Smith-Roy, Finance Director
• Larry Czekaj
• Mark Sturing

On February 21, 2008, architects from BEI and Diamond & Schmitt presented schematic designs for the new Novi Public Library to the Building Authority.  These updated floor plans show how the two story building is taking shape and the site plan shows its location to the property.
