Ongoing Tween and Teen Programs

Teen Advisory Board (TAB) Meeting

Get involved with the Library by joining our Teen Advisory Board (TAB). All high school students are welcome. Help plan teen programs, organize community service projects, and volunteer at programs. Meeting attendance will count towards community service hours if you are signed up as a teen volunteer. BeTWEEN the Pages: Tween Book Club Trivia

Join our tween book club to discover new books and answer trivia questions based on what you read. Trivia questions will come directly from the book's plot, characters, and setting. Note that guests must read the selected book prior to the program.

Share a Story with Local Author A. Kidd

Join local author A. Kidd as she reads an exciting excerpt from her tween fiction light fantasy novel, "The Healing Star." She will then demonstrate how to make a fun, book-related craft.
 
Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase during the program. One lucky guest will also win a signed copy of her book!

Macramé Hanging Planters

Seasonal Decals

Register to pick out a seasonal decal to decorate things found in your home – some examples are a mug, a water bottle, a mirror, or notebook. The decals in this kit were cut out on the Cricut Maker and the Silhouette Cameo cutting machines located in the iCube Makerspace. You will have a week to pick up the craft and will be notified with pick-up details.

ACT Practice Test

Free, full-length, proctored online ACT practice test courtesy of Huntington Learning Center of Novi. Participants should have a calculator, pencils, and a snack for their break. Must be able to print scoresheet with link provided 15 minutes prior to the start time of test. Scoreback session will be held virtually via Zoom on Tuesday, December 1 from 7-8:30pm.
 
Same test in the morning and afternoon sessions, so please register for one practice test only. Details about how to connect will be emailed two days prior to the program to registered attendees.
