Thanks to the Friends of Novi Library, we are giving away a limited supply of "I love my library" lawn signs to Novi residents only! Limit one per household. We will not hold lawn signs; you must visit the Library to pick-up a sign. Signs will be available in the East Meeting Room (temporary entrance/exit during our main entrance construction).
Temporary Signage
Individual temporary signs of up to 6 square feet and 4 feet in height are allowed on Single Family Residential parcels for a maximum duration of 64 days. Multiple signs are allowed totaling 10 square feet (i.e. 2 signs at 5 square feet each). Temporary Signs of any type are not allowed in the public right-of-way. Complete ordinance and right-of-way map: cityofnovi.org/ordinance. Placement suggestion: on your private lawn, at least 5 feet back from the Right of Way, and 5 feet behind any sidewalk or pathway.
